Installation
Get AppSwitcher up and running on your Windows machine in under a minute.
System Requirements
Section titled “System Requirements”Before installing, make sure your system meets the following requirements:

Download Options
Section titled “Download Options”| Option | Description | Best for |

Installing
Section titled “Installing”- Download the latest AppSwitcher-Setup.exe from the GitHub Releases page.
- Run the installer. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click More info → Run anyway. This is expected for independent releases that haven’t yet built a Microsoft reputation.
- Follow the setup wizard. AppSwitcher will install and launch automatically, appearing in your system tray.
- Download the latest AppSwitcher-Portable.zip from the GitHub Releases page.
- Extract the archive to any folder of your choice.
- Run
AppSwitcher.exedirectly — no installation needed.
First Launch
Section titled “First Launch”After installation, AppSwitcher will appear as a small icon in your system tray. No windows will open — it runs quietly in the background until you configure your first hotkey.
